Last newsletter we where asking about your opinion regarding the speed limit changes and the possibility of including such things into your carNAVi. We got a lot of positive feedback and so we are already working on an implementation of speed limit information for your carNAVi. More about this soon.

Our team finished another regional map. Vietnam is quite new in the GPS market and carNAVi is very proud to be one of the first professional companies providing a GPS map for this wonderful country.

Also our work on other international maps still continues. As the leading local navigation provider we are happy to release our first set of maps for countries in Europe.

Take your carNAVi to Vietnam

Whenever you have to travel for business or leisure, now there’s one more reason why you should plan a trip to Vietnam. This wunderful country is now also supported by carNAVi.

The detailed map covers the entire country and whenever you need help finding locations in Ho Chi Minh City or Hanoi, countless Points of Interests like Hotels, Tourists spots, Restaurants and more makes it quite easy to navigate around the country. Beside this the mapset also includes parts of Cambodia and Laos.

Like usual the mapset is available for free. carNAVi’s promise to offer free additonal maps is still our statement!

Destination EUROPE

carNAVi is the only navigation provider that offers additional maps for other countries – free of charge. We are proud to announce to start releasing a new series of maps for major countries in western Europe.

To make travelling abroad easier, carNAVi users may download separate maps for each country or region. This reduces download time and also saves space on your carNAVi device.

Already available mapsets are covering Belgium and a very popular tourist location, the Canary Islands.

The detailed road network of the maps includes major highways, secondary highways and residential streets. Thousands of POI, like  Restaurants, Hotels, Shopping Centers and Tourist Spots for most cities are also included.

This makes the maps very helpful if you visit the locations as a Tourist. Remember, your carNAVi is not only useful for driving. Just take your navi and use it as your personal Buddy while walking around for example..

More maps including France, Germany, Netherlands, Italy and other countries are coming soon.
